Today, 3D printing has entered society and produced a wide range of products. These include astonishing forms, structures never before seen, and beautifully designed items. They are always new, fresh, and exciting. Yet, have we ever seen these products in our day-to-day lives? So far, the 3D-printed objects we see online and on YouTube have something vaguely science-fiction about them, and many are in the experimental stages, not yet ready for mainstream use. Yet we know that 3D printing will become the future standard technology with which we live and work. The goal of Free-D is taking this amazing production technique and opening it up to our everyday lives. 

The theme here is "Auxetic pattern," an unusual yet beautiful structure. This is made out of plastic forming a specific pattern. Materials using it are soft and flexible, and they can be formed into freeform designs.
